Currently, more than 80% of flowers purchased in the United States are grown overseas, most commonly in South America. These flowers are raised with a heavy use of dangerous pesticides, herbicides, and fungicides, and under very poor labor conditions. Additionally, by the time you purchase them at the grocery store, they can be as much as a week old, meaning they often last just a couple of days in your home.

Some of the most beautiful flowers, are also the most delicate, and they do not ship well. Because we can grow these beautiful blooms right here in your town, it opens up a wonderful selection of flowers for our customers that you wouldn't find in the stores. Flowers such as Dahlias, Sweet Peas, and Zinnias.

Additionally, many of the flowers purchased at the grocery store, can be as much as a week old, meaning they often last just a couple of days in your home. Our flowers often last 1 to 2 weeks depending on the variety.

Truthfully, it means a lot! You are helping us make this beautiful dream of ours come true. It is one of our greatest joys seeing the smiles from our customers and recipients.
